Dave King has been a mortgage loan officer since 1985. During this time, Dave has served thousands of families in Colorado, closing more than $1.5 billion in first mortgage loans. He helps his customers make the best decisions before, during, and after the mortgage process so they avoid expensive miscues.

Dave King has been a mortgage loan officer since 1985. During this time, Dave has served thousands of families in Colorado, closing more than $1.7 billion in first mortgage loans. He helps his customers make the best decisions before, during, and after the mortgage process so they avoid expensive miscues.

Dave was named one of the “Top 200 Loan Officers in the United States” by Mortgage Originator magazine and a “Top Originator” in the Scotsman’s Guide in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

In 2005, Dave was appointed to Colorado’s Council of Advisors on Consumer Credit by Governor Bill Owens, and he went on to serve two three-year terms. In 2011, he was selected for the Colorado Mortgage Task Force.

Dave teaches a Division of Real Estate approved continuing education course for realtors entitled “Mortgage Lending Update.” He is a former instructor for the Colorado Association of Realtors, where he taught Real Estate Finance. Dave is also an accomplished author. From 2002-2008, he wrote “Loan Officer Insights,” a daily column that was distributed throughout his company and was designed to educate, enlighten, encourage, and entertain thousands of fellow employees nationwide. Over the years, his writings have been featured in several mortgage industry-related publications.

Dave is also the founder and creator of mortgagesalesmanager.com, a loan officer improvement site designed to help loan officers become more educated, effective, and efficient.

He currently is on the board of advisors for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Pinery Country Club and Redstone Bank.

Dave has a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate from Colorado State University and a lifelong commitment to educating his customers and colleagues in order to promote their financial literacy and contribute to a better life. He resides in Parker, Colorado. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, golf, fly-fishing and giving back.
