Teresa Bonner

As a highly skilled mortgage professional in the Mobile area, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to exceptional service to my clients. With 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry behind me, I know what it takes to make the mortgage process a smooth one.

Raised in Semmes, I studied communication, finance, and management at the University of South Alabama. I began my career in the mortgage industry as an assistant to a mortgage loan officer after earning my Alabama Real Estate License. This offered me the unique opportunity to learn the business from both a sales and operations side, giving me a more complete grasp of the mortgage process.

I reside in the Midtown Historic District along with my two children. I have a heart for service and have previously served on the Semmes City Council, the Semmes Planning Commission, and the American Cancer Society Leadership Council. I am a past PTO board member at my children’s school and a Mardi Gras Association board member. Currently, I devote my time to Aubreigh’s Army, an organization that grew from the DIPG diagnosis of the daughter of close friends. The Army focuses on increasing public awareness about DIPG and fundraising for research for a cure.

My pledge is to help my clients make the best possible decisions about their mortgage loan to best suit them and their families. Buying a home is the largest financial event to happen in many people’s lives, so my team and I strive to make the mortgage process as easy as possible, while keeping clients informed each step of the way. My ability to reach that goal for my clients has led to success and recognition from SWBC Mortgage Corporation. I have been a member of the elite President’s Club each year since 2014, which awards the company’s top producers.
