Over many years, David Oliverio has been a key figure in the Virginia mortgage banking industry, serving in executive and managerial capacities at both regional and national mortgage firms. David brings a successful legacy as Branch Manager for Gateway Funding in Vienna, VA, where he supervised all areas of production, compliance, financial management.
David began his career three decades ago following his graduation from American University with a BA in Political Science. Distinguishing himself as the top-producing loan originator for Kissell Company, he moved to the new position of Branch Manager at Fort Worth Mortgage. From 1987 to 2000, he continued to build upon his continued successful production record at Fort Worth Mortgage, being promoted to AVP, overseeing loan funding volumes of $105 million to $260 million while managing the leading production office branch in the company for 12 out of 13 years.
Mr. Oliverio then accepted the position of Manager at Community Bank of Northern Virginia and fulfilled all the responsibilities of a senior production manager. His closed and funded volume for 2001 was $283 million.
The next challenge for David was President and Managing Partner of 1st American Mortgage Inc. from 2002 through 2007. Again, David supervised all facets of production operations, with more than $3.1 billion in total closed loans, 225 employees, and 7 branches at the company’s peak.
