SWBC Mortgage | Daniel Plant

I grew up in Lakewood, Colorado and entered the financial services industry at a regional savings and loan and it was there I learned about consumer lending. In 1987, I moved to Wichita, Kansas where I learned the mortgage business as branch manager of American Saving and Loan.

In late 1990, I again moved to Elk Grove, California as I began my career as a Loan Officer with World Savings Bank. I grew over the next 10 years to eventually own my own independent mortgage broker company, Landmark Equity Group, Inc. in 2000.  Landmark became well-known for its high quality of service and honesty within our marketplace.

During those years in Elk Grove, I personally funded over $365 million in loans, and helped hundreds of individuals and couples realize the dream of home ownership.

In December 2009, we relocated to the Houston area; both for its positive economic outlook and abundance of new opportunities for my family. We settled in the beautiful community of Katy, Texas.

I believe in giving back to my community and I’m currently a member of the Rotary Club of Katy and serve as an Ambassador for the Katy Chamber of Commerce.

I would very much appreciate the opportunity to help you, a family member or a friend with your mortgage needs.  I am here as a resource for you!
