Melanie Taliaferro started the adventure of her mortgage career in 2002, and has never looked back.
She enjoys the creativity involved in “putting the puzzle pieces together” on every loan, and loves getting to know people in the process. Her creativity combined with many years of experience and extensive industry knowledge makes her an excellent problem solver. She also seeks to infuse fun, humor, and light-heartedness into what can be a stressful and tedious process.
Melanie is the resident scenario guru. She takes pride in finding solutions for even the most challenging and complex situations. She has significant experience with portfolio products that can offer alternative loan options for scenarios that fall outside of traditional mortgage guidelines. She has created the Taliaferro Team based on these same core values, and has assembled a group of wonderful people committed to building a lending team truly focused on being CREATIVE, COLLABORATIVE, CARING & CONSISTENT (The Four C’s). She is excited to lead the team and be able to incorporate her industry knowledge and experience with her love for training, development, and marketing.
